Welcome to Our
Recreational Gymnastics Program!
In this program your gymnast will learn the foundation skills required for gymnastics. Both classes, separated by age, offer basic and progressive instruction on bars, beam, floor, and tumble track! We strive to provide our students with a strong basis for gymnastics as well as adapting our lesson plans for every child's skill level.
Rising Stars
Ages 5-7yrs
Our Rising Stars classes are the place we hope your child will fall in love with the sport of gymnastics! Whether the goal is to learn a beautiful cartwheel, gain strength and flexibility, or conquer a fear on the balance beam, our coaches will help your child learn the basics and continue to build new skills and new confidence as they grow!
Shooting Stars
Ages 8yrs+
Our Shooting Stars classes are for our older gymnasts, ages 8 and up, of all skill levels. Our coaches mentor young athletes in gymnastics and life lessons like perseverance (getting back up on the beam when you fall), mental toughness (yes you CAN make that pullover on the bars), and self-confidence (look at all the new skills you have learned)! These classes are designed to challenge students of all abilities.
Gymini Recreational Team
GymStar Team!
Gymini's GymStars team is a competitive team in a recreational environment. The goal of GymStars is to allow children and families to experience the joy of competitive gymnastics without the huge commitment typically involved. Because our girls only work out a few hours per week, many of them are very active in other sports and school activities. GymStars creates a positive environment for the girls to grow in confidence and in skill.
The gymnasts start at Level 2 with the opportunity to advance up to Optional levels. In Level 2, the girls are only required to work out one hour per week. In Level 3, the girls are required to workout 2 hours per week. In Level 4 and higher, 3 hours of practice is required. During the competitive season, we will attend 5 competitions all around Middle Tennessee.
